Mr. Devine practices civil litigation focusing primarily on the defense of maritime tort claims.  Additionally, Mr. Devine has experience handling a wide variety of maritime matters, including; environmental, commercial, vessel arrests, limitation of ship-owner liability and transactional matters.  Mr. Devine was raised in the British Virgin Islands, is an avid diver and sailor, and worked for ten years as a U.S. Coast Guard licensed boat captain, operating both sail and power boats.  Additionally, Mr. Devine is a certified P.A.D.I. scuba diving instructor (Master Scuba Diver Trainer rating) and taught diving for more than twelve years before and during his career as a boat captain.
