Mr. Nield has been practicing in Southern California for over 20 years, starting as an associate with the insurance defense firm of Tuverson and Hillyard in 1987.  There his practice was focused in the areas of personal injury and professional liability defense as well as insurance coverage.  Thereafter he became a long time partner in the firm of DiCaro, Nield and Coppo, again focusing his practice in the areas of personal injury and medical malpractice defense.  From there he became the managing partner of the San Diego office of Carrick and Ramey, an insurance defense firm emphasizing the same practice areas, before returning as a partner to Kramer, DeBoer, Endelicato & Keane (formerly Tuverson & Hillyard) where he continued his practice in personal injury and professional liability defense.

Mr. Nield regularly practices in the areas of personal injury and professional liability defense for a variety of clients including the State of California.  Having tried numerous cases to jury verdict, he is an experienced trial attorney which has earned him the honor of admission into the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).  He also continues his longtime service as an arbitrator/mediator to both the San Diego and Riverside County Superior Courts.
