Jon handles complex commercial litigation cases and class action lawsuits in state and federal (pending) court.  His practice focuses on representing national and international corporate clients on a wide range of issues, including breaches of contracts and warranties, products liability claims, Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices actions, and fiduciary duty matters.

While attending law school, Jon twice served as a teaching assistant for “Legal Environment of Business” and “Appellate Advocacy” courses, as well as the Research Editor for the University of Florida Journal of Law & Public Policy.  He also gained valuable, hands-on litigation experience while clerking for the Office of the Attorney General for the State of Florida, the Office of the Public Defender for the Eighth Judicial Circuit of Florida, and a circuit court judge in Florida’s Seventeenth Judicial Circuit.  By combining his passion for business litigation with his entrepreneurial spirit, Jon successfully founded the Corporate & Securities Litigation Group at the University of Florida.

Jon has been active in several charitable and civic organizations in South Florida.  During his free time, Jon enjoys studying international politics and economics, playing and watching sports, global traveling, and cooking ethnic cuisine.
