Originally from New Paltz, NY, Michael graduated from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2007 and immediately relocated to South Florida. Prior to coming to Maltzman Foreman, Michael practiced in the field of business and commercial litigation at the law firm of Schecter Law, P.A. in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Michael currently focuses his practice in the area of maritime defense litigation.
While excelling in law school Michael was a member of the Cardozo Tax Clinic and assisted with the representation of low income taxpayers in front of the Internal Revenue Service and the United States Tax Court. He focused much of his law school studies in the area of patent law, and ultimately graduated from law school with a concentration in intellectual property law. Michael was also a member of the Cardozo Journal of Law and Gender.
During his free time Michael enjoys politics and current events, playing basketball, watching sports and travel.
