Ms. Achtman works in all areas of legal practice at Maltzman Foreman, P.A. Originally from Dallas, Texas, she completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Richmond, where she graduated summa cum laude, completed a double major in Psychology and Spanish and a minor in Law and the Liberal Arts, and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.

 

Ms. Achtman is currently completing her Juris Doctorate at the University of Miami School of Law, where she serves as a Staff Editor on the University of Miami Law Review. While working for the University of Miami Law Review, Ms. Achtman wrote a Note entitled “Pico Takes a Visit to Cuba: Will Pretext Become Precedent in the Eleventh Circuit?,” which analyzes and discusses the highly controversial Miami-Dade public school library book removal case, American Civil Liberties Union of Florida v. Miami-Dade School Board, and was published in the University of Miami Law Review in July of 2009.
